Hi, my name is Ian and I'm the head honcho at "The Paperboy". It started out in November 1997 as a hobby to satisfy my own craving for easy access to quality news and has grown from there (2.3 million visits; 1.4 million unique visitors; and, 7.5 million page views in 2007!). I hope you find it to be a useful resource. Over the years I've had some very positive reviews from various media outlets, including Britain's Sunday Times, CNBC, CNN and the New York Times! After graduating from Law School in 1998, I earnt my living as a travel writer working mainly for Lonely Planet where I wrote three cycle touring titles: Indochina, New Zealand and Great Britain. Since 2002 I've been working for Australia's Foreign Affairs Department, and as of 2007 I am living in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, a beautiful, challenging and always interesting part of the world! You can take a look at photos from my recent travels at my Flickr Site. My brother Andrew also helps out from time to time and is currently running The Paperboy. Andrew lives in Mt Barker, Western Australia and is full time Professional Firefighter. Andrew has also been lucky enough to travel the world.
